When Gustav Holst was composing…

30 03 2007

…there were seven planets. When I was a lad it was nine. At Barrow Primary School the pupils now know that there are TEN. (But are there any more?)

However, on a safer note, the pupils in Class 3 have been continuing their exploration - Earth and Space - and have been podasting their thoughts on the learning journey, in ICT, science and literacy. Enjoy, and hopefully, post a comment.

Starting in Holst’s order

Mars - Alice & Gemma MP3 M4A
Venus - Roxanne & Oliver MP3 M4A
Mercury - LilyD & Rupert MP3 M4A
Jupiter - LilyR & JackS MP3 M4A
Saturn - Millie & MitchellH MP3 M4A
Uranus - Jaya & Adam MP3 M4A
Neptune - JackH & Ben MP3 M4A

Following with the new kids on the block

Pluto - Sam & Mrs Jones MP3 M4A
Eris - MitchellJ & Ciaran MP3 M4A

with last, but by no means least, our very own

Earth - Tom & Maisie MP3 M4A
